Sacromonte Walk & the Albaicin

A small cathedral in the city centre

Another Moorish building in the city centre

Monumental arch - entrance to the Alhambra

On our way to the Albaicin, the area with all the white painted houses.

Another view of the Alhambra

At the Albaicin

These alleys had heaps of tiny shops selling interesting Moorish design souvenirs.

Inside of Granada Cathedral, which had a bright white theme (as opposed to all the other cathedrals we had seen with their dark looking interior) with many tall columns and intricate organ pipes.

A spice and tea leaves stall outside the Cathedral. Spot my favourite Chamomile tea (the Spaniards call it the "Manzilla" tea).

Night shots of the Alhambra

Fountain dedicated to King Ferdinand of Aragon and Queen Isabella of Castille in the city centre - under these Catholic monarchs, the Spanish people were united under one monarchy and Granada became part of the Kingdom of Castille.
