Park Guell and Gaudi's House

Park Guell is another Gaudi creation.

Gaudi's house where he stayed for the last years of his life.

The rocks were shaped to look like waves.

The iconic salamander - one of Barcelona's best loved symbols.
We tried out Restaurant "7" on Catherine's recommendation - Barcelona's oldest restaurant. The food was brilliant. We had seafood paella and a mixed grilled seafood platter. We thought we should have our seafood ration in Barcelona given that they are so pricey in London! My face was going red from all the sangria we had! The Spanish waiter couldn't speak English and misunderstood one glass for one jug, so I had to help Garry finish one litre of sangria (meaning "blood" in Spanish, it is a red wine mixed with lemonade and fruit pieces).
