5th century BC Temple of Haephaistos, Ancient Agora



Ancient Agora was Athens' main marketplace during its Golden Age, as well as the city's political, administrative and cultural heart. It was here that Socrates and St Paul made their public speeches, and where democracy was born.
Agora Musuem
Stoa of Attalos, a two storey structure from the second century BC which originally functioned as a trading centre but today houses the Agora Musuem.
