Transiting in Kuala Lumpur

We flew back to Perth for my grandma's 80th birthday party and stopped in KL for 2 nights at the Mandarin Oriental. Elisa & Den picked a great hotel, it was really nice. Our room had views of the KL Tower and the Petronas Towers (where Entrapment was filmed).

Fri (14 Sep 07) Too much food in KL - we didn't even get to try the complimentary jambu (those red pear-like things on the coffee table)

We weren't very familiar with KL but luckily we had Elisa who knew KL very well. We had dinner at an Indonesian restaurant in KLCC.

Sat (15 Sep) - Den joined us the next morning. The two Chongs, reunited at last (hehe)!!

Den's uncle took us to the KL Golf Club for a seafood banquet dinner. The black pepper crabs were phenomenal!!

Den & his uncle displaying their talent - Den's uncle has an amazing voice (and a great sense of humour)! He made us laugh the whole night!!
