Little Venice and Regent Park

Sunday (10 Jun 07) - It waa a nice sunny day so we decided to for a stroll along the canals in Little Venice, which is an area of central London, situated north-west of Paddington. Its name arises from the canal junction at its centre, formed by the western end of the Regent's Canal and the Paddington arm of the Grand Union Canal, resembling the famous canals of Venice.

Garry picked his favourite barge....

....and I picked mine!

A nice passer-by took this pic for us.

Expensive white houses along the canal.

Maida Hill Tunnel - Cafe Laville sits on top of it.

The Dream Home - private backyard of a really nice grand house near Regent Park backing onto the canal.
There were so many roses at Regent Park. It was quite a sight.

My favourite icebergs - will love to have these in my garden one day.
Only caught the back of the lovely bride and groom who were having their photo shoot at the park. The bride was gorgeous.

A perfect end to a nice day - a view of the sunset from our apartment (taken at 9pm).
