Arrived in Brussels around 11pm, dropped our bags at the hotel and ventured out to get a night view of the Grand Place, the main attraction in Brussels. The whole square was damaged by a big fire and was later restored. We made the mistake of walking in a dodgy street and met an overly-friendly Belgian guy. Luckily we managed to get away quick enough before he could have mugged us.
Hotel de Ville de Bruxelles - Brussels town Hall - gothic civil architecture from the 15th century.
Musee de la Ville - City Museum - where we saw lots of statues of "Mannekin Pis" (the peeing boy) dressed in different costumes, including a Singaporean costume (some Oriental outfit). We couldn't find his Aussie costume, but saw his Elvis outfit!
Bruxella 1238 - archeological musuem near our hotel.
